new york's hidden treasure

i honestly believe that ithaca is a hidden treasure. it has such a rich and unique culture that allows hippies, entrepreneurs, socialites, and bohemians to peacefully collaborate to make the city what it is. it has music festivals, farmers markets, and craft shows that bring in people from a 200 mile radius on a weekly basis. its winters, though cold as fuck, are amazingly beautiful, and its summers are just plain gorgeous. it is a supportive place for people to come and begin their life, start it over, or explore a new idea.

and so i conclude my short ode to this fabulous city. if you can, come to ithaca. you wont regret it and then you'll really understand what im talking about.

I'd like to add that Cornell has the ability to suck the coolness out of Ithaca with it's stressful environment. I am an Ithaca fan too, sans the Cornell lifestyle.

you need to visit madison. i could substitute "madison" for "ithaca" in that entire post and it would describe my city to a tee :)
